The ongoing cycle starts when both agree to change their status, and it develops to "We are engaged, to "We just got married," and then "We just had a baby."
I ask myself, does the status on Facebook really matter this much?
Some young adults would say no, explaining that posting a picture with their significant other, or a cute video together is far more important than changing their status.
Some would rather change their profile picture to one with their partner, as a way of saying "I'm taken, back off.
Changing the status on Facebook can be good for some couples, but it certainty doesn't work for everybody. I've seen people making up and breaking up almost every month, and let me tell you, it's quite annoying.
